“I’ve always been a beach and ocean lover since a child. I began my ocean journey bodyboarding, catching as many waves as possible during summer at the local Socal beaches of Torrance, Huntington and Newport. It wasn’t until my late 30’s that I began kayaking and snorkeling when there were no waves. Once I came face to face with a harbor seal in a kelp forest off San Pedro, I became instantly hooked on exploring underwater life. This is also when I began to progress into a freediver and underwater videographer”

“I feel a special connection with life in the ocean. I love being underwater, exploring and feeling part of the underwater world. I am grateful and priviledged to swim among the fish, kelp, algae, sharks, stingrays, harbor seals and sea lions in their beautiful home. When i’m not in the ocean often, I do not feel complete and can’t wait to get back under”

“I believe sharing precious underwater life and scenery will help others realize what lives in our ocean that they don’t normally see or think about. It’s easy to trash something and be careless with the environment when people feel no connection or have little to no understanding what they are effecting, especially life. Once someone has a beautiful visual of ocean life, it will help to guide their future decisons towards stronger conservation and ocean life awareness”
