Images of the many beautiful and life filled locations I’ve explored below the famous Laguna Beach of California.
Treasure Island Reefs ~ A beautiful and secluded beach out front of the famous Montage Resort. Surrounded by rocky reefs filled with kelp patches, sea grass and other seaweeds, this area is packed with fish. Also this is a marine protected area with no fishing allowed which has resulted in an abundace of thriving ocean life. One of my favorite places to observe many diverse fish up close.

Goff Island ~ A huge reef structure that towers out of the water at different sections and depths. There is the main “Island” that resembles a hill coming out of the ocean which is connected to several striated rocky reefs that break the surface and even longer striated reefs below the surface. The outer rocky reefs are deep with many swim throughs. The entire area is healthy with diverse fish, kelp and algae.
